Juvenile Court Process 1: Introduction

Trainees are introduced to the Nebraska Juvenile Court Process. Topics include the steps in the legal process, the role of the courts in relation to Protection and Safety, and definitions of relevant legal terminology.

Method: Trainees participate in an interactive trainer-led webinar. Trainees participate in a self-paced online training that includes review of key concepts learned in the webinar.

Assessment of Learning: Attendance and feedback on trainees’ strengths and concerns will be recorded in the training website following the webinar. Trainees complete learning checks while participating in the self-paced online training.
