The Training Collaborative at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Center on Children, Families, and the Law brings together over 200 years of combined experience in child welfare practice. CCFL’s award-winning multidisciplinary trainers are uniquely equipped to deliver high-quality, comprehensive training and support to various organizations and entities under contract with the Department of Health and Human Services.

Mandt Training Now Available

UNL's Center on Children, Families, and the Law is excited to offer Mandt Training in 2025. Mandt Training focuses on de-escalating situations before minor incidents spark a more significant crisis. The Mandt System builds skill development through a system of gradual and graded alternatives for de-escalating and assisting people, using a combination of interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and physical interaction techniques.
